"Dar a volta ao Sol” – around the sun - is an exhibition of 12 photos and 12 texts. Each photo and its text were exhibited for a month each for 12 months in the Cafeteria of the Museum of Science of the University of Coimbra.
The project went through the development of a proposal of an identity for exhibition, as well as a final editorial with the 12 photographs and 12 texts.
The shade and the light are often associated with the photography, which is the main theme of the exhibition, so we explore the clock of the sun as inspiration of the passage of time. We try to simulate the movement of the Sun throughout the day according to the advancing of the months, the advancing of time.
Contrasting with the dynamism and organic anatomy of the shadows, the whole typographic structure of the editorial and the poster is more rigid.
